I have worked with Arnav on Samsung Account growth improvements. User research done by his team was very useful and fundamental for proposing solutions to our HQ counterparts. A few of those solutions were implemented in Samsung One UI 6 (globally). He is very enthusiastic and always up for a discussion on random thoughts that could develop into potential ideas.
During my time working with Arnav "ji"(an affectionate Indian gesture), was truly amazed by his exceptional ability for Non-Linear Thinking. Designing a product at the concept level is already challenging, but Arnav "ji" takes it to another level by maintaining an equally meticulous eye for detail when working on IMAGINARY products. Personally, I have learned a great deal about design thinking from him, and I have no doubt that you will continue to excel in your future endeavours. Arnav ji is not only a valuable team player, but he also possesses a patient ear, making him an excellent colleague. I am grateful for your contributions to TropoGo and the dedication you showed, especially during those late nights and long hours. Your commitment and hard work have made a significant impact on the company. As you move forward, I encourage you to continue setting the industry standards just as you did during your time at TropoGo. Your ability to raise the bar and strive for excellence will undoubtedly lead to continued success wherever you go.
"Redesigning of the hand pump" and "Solving sanitation for salt pan workers" were two important projects that Arnav, a student of mine at the IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay, worked on under my guidance and supervision. He demonstrated a strong foundation in designs basics and an analytical attitude throughout these projects. We collaborated on and published a book titled "Design for community: A hand pump design for user convenience" later in the summer of 2023, and we awarded him the "Student Innovation Award" in recognition of his constant commitment to finding solutions for complex design problems. In addition, Arnav has been managing and contributing to online design courses imparted by IDC School of Design through NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) while working as a full-time UX designer. Certainly, I consider Arnav to be strong individual who will be a great asset to any team he works with.
Arnav's forte' is his skill to think like a customer. His keen eye for smaller details increases the intuitiveness of any product. I had a great time with Arnav at TropoGo wherein his customer oriented thought process merged with his creativity and ideas helped us create some great products for our customers. Arnav is a team man and a great asset to have in a team.

Summary:
We as designers should account for an inclusive approach in order to avoid having negative repercussion on any sector. We should design for humanity and not just humans. We should be thinkers with visions to solve wicked problems, and not create solutions to eventually end up with another problem.

Mobile User Experience (UX) Design

Summary:
Attention span in mobile screen reduces to nearly 50% compared to desktops. This is because of smaller estate, distractions & disturbances around. Designing for mobile can be best validated with one finger and one eye test in a bustling outdoor experience.
It is important to contextualise actions in mobile to avoid errors.
User Research-Methods and Best Practices
Interaction Design Foundation

Summary:
A research is incomplete without combining both qualitative & quantitative data. It is important as designer to understand when to employ explorative studies like Ethnography and when to execute Solution-based studies like usability testing. Researchers should have a research plan and should be mindful of user consent while conducting any interviews.
